Tenure-track Astronomer

USNO’s Celestial Reference Frame Department is hiring multiple astronomer positions located at both our Washington, DC and Flagstaff, AZ facilities.  Positions include: radio astronomer with a background in very long baseline interferometry; observational optical astronomers; infrared astronomers with a background in instrument development; and astronomers with a background in solar system or similar ephemerides development.  These positions have a full performance level of GS-13 and are permanent Government appointments.  Opening dates are May 20 – May 27, 2022.  Please see the following link for information on how to apply:   https://www.usajobs.gov/GetJob/ViewDetails/655084600
